HUNGARY TRAVEL GUIDE
Hungary is right in the middle of Central Europe and is a landlocked country with borders to seven countries. Hungary is a captivating and often overlooked gem that isn’t as well travelled to as many other countries in Europe. This land of rich history, vibrant culture, and picturesque landscapes offers an authentic European experience not to be forgotten.
Hungary boasts a fascinating history that dates back to the medieval Kingdom of Hungary and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The country's capital, Budapest, is often referred to as the "Paris of the East" due to its stunning architecture, including the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle, and the Chain Bridge. Wander through ancient towns, like Eger and Szentendre, where centuries-old architecture and cobblestone streets provide a window into the past.
Hungary's culture is a fusion of influences from across Europe, creating a unique and distinct identity. On a visit to Hungary you can dive into the world of Hungarian folk traditions, dance, and music. Savor the country's culinary delights, including hearty stews, delectable pastries, and the renowned Hungarian goulash.
